As GSRJ’s Tax Matters Coordinator, Ms. Bredeson’s primary responsibility is domestic and international tax compliance, and she is an integral contributor to one of the firm’s family office representations. In addition, Ms. Bredeson supports complex structure administration and charitable planning matters.
Ms. Bredeson’s role involves facilitating the U.S. tax compliance requirements for both foreign and domestic entities and individuals and extensive communication with trustees, foreign banks, investment managers, and other professionals such as accountants and trust protectors. She coordinates the U.S. tax and information reporting related to international accounts and assets, including offshore voluntary disclosures to the IRS, when appropriate, and remedial reports and amended income tax returns. In addition to her tax reporting and entity administration work, Ms. Bredeson participates in the administration of family foundations and other charitable giving structures.
