Lauren Fitte

Ms. Fitte practices primarily in the areas of domestic and international estate and business planning, from their design and implementation to their ongoing administration. 

Ms. Fitte focuses primarily on the design, implementation, and administration of domestic and international estate and business plans. She specializes in designing tax-efficient structures for U.S. and non-U.S. families and advises with regard to both inbound and outbound investment planning, inheritance planning, asset protection, tax compliance matters, international trust and estate planning, and pre-immigration planning.  She supports the firm’s partners through research and analysis of the far-ranging federal income, estate, and gift tax issues encountered by our multi-jurisdictional and high net worth clients. In addition to her niche international trust and estate practice, Ms. Fitte also advises with regard to traditional domestic estate planning, probate, and estate administration matters.

Ms. Fitte has published several articles on international estate planning and taxation, and is a contributing editor to the four-volume treatise,Asset Protection: Domestic and International Law and Tactics, published by Thomson/West group and updated quarterly. She is also a certified mediator and has experience advising litigation co-counsel with regard to trust and estate disputes and will contests. Ms. Fitte graduated from Rice University in 2008 with a degree in English, and went on to complete law school at the University of Texas School of Law in 2013.
